16 corn ribs
Very carefully cut each cob into lengthways quarters – until they look like the image on the right.
Make the rub. Stir together the oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder and salt and pepper in a small bowl.
Brush the rub onto each corn rib with a pastry brush. Coat each one evenly.
Place the corn ribs in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Set the air fryer to 190°c / 375°f and cook for 10-12 minutes. Alternatively bake in the oven on a tray.
